Was expectin to be on at least my 4.7 when i arrived as the wind was howlin all night. Got woken up a few times. It was forecast to drop of and it did. Jeff and Ian were out making the most of the marginal conditions and were doing alright.
I made the mistake of not takin a bigger board with me as I was expecting it to be pretty windy. I struggled throughout the whole session with my 80 litre board and knackered 6.3 sail which is probably equal to a 5.7 with all the holes in it. The wind dropped of througout the session just as the forecast said it would and by the end, I could just about watertstart. Was good to begin with but then went to marginal. Jeff and Ian were blasting along all morning and thanks jeff for lending me your hood again. Wasn't to bothered about having to leave early as I had all my packing to do and things to sort out. Proabbly my last windsurf session in Uk for a long while. Roll on NZ ;)
